Get Involved!
Jeff has just recently opened the Facebook Project up as a public collaborative effort and therefore could really use your help. Right now the most pressing concern is the Facebook Feature Index, a wiki that documents the various features on Facebook (their components, history, and uses). Though we can't offer any monetary incentives, assistance with our research could easily make for good experience or be used as an outline to a paper. Significant contributions to scholarly work could also result in mention or inclusion in publications, depending on what's at hand.
Undergraduates
If you're an undergraduate there are two good ways to get involved:
Take a Walk on the Wiki-side
We need your help. You guys make up the founding and potentially most powerful and intensive group of Facebook users out there. We want to know what you use the different parts of the website for. Add to this wiki reflecting your experiences online.
Your Paper Online?
Since Facebook is relatively new (and is a topic of great interest to many undergradutes) some of the most cutting-edge research is being conducted by young people who've grown up with it. If you're an undergraduate and you've written a paper on Facebook and would like to have it up online please send word. This site can be a good place to reference it for the future and we'd like to build a collection of people, papers and ideas.
Graduates, Faculty, and Others
Either of the two offers for undergraduates apply, but we invite you to take a greater stake in the project. If you'd like to work with us on collaborative research projects and make a home for your research on Facebook here you're welcome. All fields of research are welcome. Please take a look at the collaborative projects section and send Jeff Ginger word if you're interested.
Case Studies
The FBP case study is on pause for the time being. Jeff has cataloged much of the material and will be working through it next year as he finds time. If you'd like to learn more about the project and use some of the interview questions as a basis for one of your own, go ahead and check it out.

The Facebook Project Blog
Announcements, inquiries, and general topics will be discussed occasionally on our blog. It's mostly for internal use, but feel free to pop in and make a comment or two.
